my story

your partner in leadership and life transitions

I’m Michele Tevis, a certified Leadership and Life Transition Coach. My passion for coaching started at Apple, where I spent three decades as a senior leader. During my time at Apple, I juggled competing priorities in a fast-paced environment. I delivered positive results through my global team and cross-functional organizations. Because of my background, I know the challenges leaders are facing in today’s work environment. I am passionate about helping my coaching clients overcome these challenges to find what truly makes them happy!

coaching and my process

As a result of my decades long career, I have experienced successes and setbacks that are not unique to me. These experiences have given me insight on the many challenges women face when trying to balance their home life and career. I believe that we are all whole, healthy, and capable of being anything we want to be, with the support of a coach.

When I work with my clients, I ask them to dig deep so that we can mine their personal experiences. Furthermore, we go through exercises that help my clients identify their goals, discover their strengths, and put together a comprehensive plan to pursue their passions.

how coaching found me

I am excited about coaching because I genuinely believe that if I had a coach, I would have found my calling sooner! For instance, during my time at Apple, colleagues often came to me for support, direction, and guidance. After years of helping those around me be the best they could be, I realized I had a gift for coaching and decided to make coaching my second career.

I went back to school and sharpened my pre-existing skills. In addition, I learned to utilize different leadership development resources to help coach individuals, teams, and organizations. I pride myself on my ability to listen well, communicate effectively, provide accountability. My ultimate goal is to inspire self-initiated change.

on a personal note

When I’m not working with clients, I like to spend time with my husband, Sid, my four daughters, one son, and twelve grandchildren. My passions include traveling, interior design, and cooking. I have lived throughout California, but currently call beautiful Northern California home.
